Chapter 353
It was always summer in Dewhurst, and it gave a homely feeling. Elijah had found a house surrounded by fields of roses. It was beautiful, and Sabrina loved it.
Due to the nice climate, Sabrina spent her days arranging roses in vases, placing them in every corner of the house. Yet, the thorns would sometimes prick her fingers, but she felt no pain. Her condition had improved, but only just slightly. This troubled her greatly. She had tried hard, and so had the doctors.
Abigail quit her job to stay with her, and Elijah visited regularly. Sabrina had come all this way to get better, and the rest had done so much for her, yet the improvement was minimal.
During New Year's, Sabrina's mother came to Dewhurst to celebrate with them. Sabrina clung to Cheryl.
"You're older now, yet still so clingy like a little child," Cheryl teased.
"The psychologist said a mother's hug is worth more than many therapy sessions." Sabrina smiled.
Abigail stayed by Sabrina's side in Dewhurst after quitting
