Eva helped Sabrina up from the ground and also picked up the scattered files on the floor. Seeing the cut on her palm, she said, "Let me take you to get that treated first." Sabrina nodded and went to a nearby community hospital. While Eva went to pay, Sabrina sat in the hospital corridor, contemplating how to repair the brooch to make it as good as new. Just then, a shadow loomed over her. When she looked up, she saw Gerald, who was sweating profusely. "Why are you..." Sabrina smiled. "Did Eva tell you?" Gerald shook his head. "I called you, wanting to invite you to dinner, but she answered the call." He squatted in front of her and gently opened her fingers. It was then that he saw a long, bleeding cut on her fair palm.
