A Messed-up Meeting

No… I couldn’t… I wouldn’t let Theo speak up for me. I didn’t need his help.
It was already hard enough for she-wolves to have a voice in pack’s matters other than the usual Luna duties. If I let Theo defend me this time, I might not have the chance to prove them wrong.
It would just show everyone involved in this meeting that I really needed a male to rely on, and it would be more difficult for she-wolves to have a say in the future.
I would ultimately lose my right to speak, and it wasn’t what I wanted or needed. I had to fight for my right and couldn’t let Theo interfere!
“Theo, no,” I told him firmly.
To my alarm, he ignored me and still snatched the microphone in front of me.
“Alphas, Betas, Gammas… I’m sure even though you pretended not to listen to Alpha Charlotte’s presentation, you actually paid attention to it. I, myself, heard it clearly, and as Alpha Max said, Alpha Charlotte’s ideas for this project are indeed convincing, creative, and innovative. W
