Chapter 69
As Blade swung his sword, Hudson found himself pondering so many details in the brief window before the blade made contact. To him, the strike was painfully slow.
He intentionally released the strength from his chest and suppressed any hint of the skeletal aura within him. As a result, the blade sliced cleanly from his collarbone down to his waist.
Blood was sprayed everywhere, and the students around them gasped in unison.
"Oh my god!"
"So much blood! Holy crap! He's done for!"
Blade, who was now splattered with blood, only grew more exhilarated, though a flicker of doubt crossed his face.
Something felt off.
As an expert swordsman with an enhanced ability, Blade could usually sense whether an opponent would sustain injuries the moment his blade swung.
When he initially attacked, he felt Hudson wouldn't be harmed at all. But as soon as the blade touched his body, everything changed.
Blade maintained his grin, but confusion churned beneath the surface. What was with this kid?
