Hudson's body was violently thrown back, slamming into a stone pillar of the abandoned building with a loud bang.
As he slid to the ground, the pillar suddenly collapsed, and the concrete debris rained down on him. It took him a long time to crawl out of the rubble.
"Mr. Jennings… Aren't you being a bit too harsh?" Hudson gasped as he looked at Owen, who was smoking in impatience as he sat on the steps, waiting for the younger man.
Within a week, Owen seemed to have exhausted every trick in his book. Not only had he helped Hudson become more accustomed to his Bonewarden powers, but he had also taught the younger man plenty of combat skills and shooting techniques.
Then Hudson started to feel uncertain about what type of weapons he should use. He had no issue with everyday control now, but it was a different matter when it came to combat.
