Chapter 70 Divorce Upon Returning
I looked at Randall. His expression was filled with sincerity like he was genuinely apologizing.
Unlike that awful Lionel from last night. He was insufferable and kept ranting about how poorly I treated Randall. It was enough to set my nerves on edge.
But since those words didn't come from Randall, I didn't hold it against him. As long as he wasn't siding with Lionel, that was all I needed.
"About what happened last night..." I began, but a raspy voice interrupted me, "Why are you apologizing? He's the one who owes an apology."
The voice was rough and strained, obviously from a bad cold, and punctuated by harsh coughing.
I turned to see Yvette In the sunlight, her delicate features were sharply defined, but her eyes were icy, locked on me with a cold glare.
There she goes again, with that sour face. When did she start being so moody? Why hasn't she divorced me if she's so worried about Randall, and can't stand him being wronged?
I rolled my eyes and took a seat across from Randa
