Chapter 129 Dropping Out of the Competition
I was stewing with frustration, and there was no way to vent it.
Right then, my phone lit up with a WhatsApp message from Lila.
"I heard you entered that VFX competition. Good luck. I know you got this!"
The moment I saw her message, the dark clouds in my mind instantly cleared. I grinned and texted back, "You're not far from becoming a top-tier star yourself!"
But after that, Lila went silent. She had strict limits on her phone usage, so it was probably taken away again.
The explanation of the rules wrapped up soon after, and the crowd started to disperse. The competition, a two-day showdown, would officially kick off the next morning.
Just then, Kylie called and rambled through a series of reminders, "You'll need to find your competition room on your own this time. I'll be staying at the hotel, so if anything comes up, just give me a call."
I lazily replied, "Got it."
Before I could even hang up, a familiar, low voice came from behind me.
"Owen."
I looked up and saw Joseph.
