"It's not your fault, Yvie," Samuel said as he shot a glance at the man.
The man awkwardly sat down, no longer daring to look at me or make a sound.
Then, Samuel stood up and walked over to me, grabbing my arm. "Yvie isn't in a good mood today. I called you here to keep her company, comfort her, and prevent her from drinking too much."
I let Samuel lead me to sit beside Yvette.
The moment she saw me, she threw herself into my arms and started sobbing uncontrollably. "Juliet, drink with me, please. Drink with me."
"I don't drink," I coldly refused Yvette.
Yvette looked at me pleadingly. "Yes, you do. You've drunk before. You just don't want to drink with me, right?"
She cried harder and shoved a glass into my hand. It was filled to the brim with vodka. "Please, I beg you. Drink with me!"
