Chapter 12
Early in the morning, Julie got up and stood in front of the wardrobe, her head turning black.
What kind of clothes were these?
It was either a red and green suit with a strong wind, or a semi-transparent X-ray vision.
A large part of it was selected by Olivia for her. It was obviously of the same color, the same style, and the size, but she said it was suitable for her.
In her previous life, her eyes must have been blind.
After a while, Julie finally found a long white dress that could still be seen.
After breakfast, Julie carried her schoolbag on her back and was ready to go to school.
The Austin family's house was located in the rich area, and there were very few cars. They could only reach the nearest bus station after walking for 20 minutes.
Julie was walking on the road when the horn of the car sounded behind her. Her face froze, and then she took two steps back to make way for the car.
The car slowly drove over, but stopped in front of her.
The window rolled down, and a face that could turn all living things upside down appeared in Julie's sight.
"Julie, what a coincidence!" Andrew looked at Julie in front of him. Her head was long and straight, her eyebrows were like a painting, and her facial features were exquisite. Her long white dress made her look elegant and moving.
"Good morning." Julie was surprised. She didn't expect to meet him again so soon.
"Get in the car. I'll give you a ride." The voice didn't rise and fall, but there was an unquestionable order in it.
This kind of natural aggressiveness gave people an invisible pressure.
Julie refused with a smile. "No, I'll arrive at the bus stop soon. It's convenient for me to take a taxi."
Andrew Loe's slender fingers tapped rhythmically on the steering wheel. His voice was cold, but he could not refuse. "Get in the car."
Julie wanted to refuse, but when she thought that someone had helped her several times, she opened the front passenger seat and sat down.
The car was moving slowly.
The car was very quiet, and Andrew next to her was focused on driving.
Julie tilted her head and looked at him. The outline of his side face was more three-dimensional, as if no flaws could be found from any angle.
All of a sudden, Andrew turned his head and met her eyes, which caught Julie off guard.
"You've been staring at me since you got in the car. Am I good-looking?"
"Sir, you must be joking." Julie hurriedly looked away.
"Andrew."
Julie was stunned for a while, and then she realized that Andrew was talking about his own name.
Wait, where have I heard this name before?
Julie kept searching for this name in her mind, and then she was dumbfounded!
"Isn't he the president of the Leo Group?"
An existence like the uncrowned king of the imperial capital!
"Andrew, thank you for what happened last night," Julie said carefully.
"Yes."
"Huh? What do you mean?"
He just said, "Hmm. How can I continue?"
The corner of Julie's mouth twitched, and she said again, "I'll have to trouble you now."
"Yes."
It was the same word again. Julie felt that she couldn't go on.
"Andrew, thank you very much! By the way, can you give me your account number? I'll return the money to you later."
"Who gave it to you? Who else do you give it to?"
Thinking about it, it made sense. Big Boss Andrew didn't care about such a small sum of money. He'd better return it to Elijah if she had the chance to meet him.
The car fell into silence again.
Just as Julie was suffocating by the repressed atmosphere, Andrew finally opened his mouth.
"I've helped you three times. How are you going to thank me?"
"Haha..." Julie laughed dryly.
Except for taking his car and leaving last night, it seemed that he took the initiative in the other two times, okay?
Andrew was asking her how she should thank him!
"Isn't it a little too shameless?"
