Rory's nagging voice continued to drift in from the doorway. The moment Huan heard her complaining about Grandma, he abruptly stood up.
With a *bang*, he yanked the door open, his dark, piercing eyes like icy daggers as they locked onto Rory. "Are you done?" he demanded, his voice sharp with barely contained fury.

"Don’t you *dare* mention that woman to me!" Huan exploded, his rage erupting like a storm.
