Chapter 69
Dorothy remained expressionless.
"Uncle Lyan, keep driving. He will dodge," he said, not really believing that Mason was fearless in facing death.
Uncle Lyan nodded but was somewhat apprehensive. He gritted his teeth and stepped on the gas pedal. With a thunderous sound, Mason, even before the car reached him, rolled towards the roadside with a look of panic on his face.
The speed was so swift that Mason was terrified even before Uncle Lyan could get close.
Dorothy found it funny, so she rolled down the car window and raised her middle finger at Mason, who was seen through the rearview mirror.
Lying in the shrubs, Mason, clutching his arm, coldly watched Dorothy's car leave.
Mason’s mother, taken aback, screamed in horror and quickly ran over.
