Josh said, "I still have respect for teachers, so I don't need you to bow down to me. I'll say it again. When the grades come out, I hope you'll still keep this attitude toward me. Please don't be overly friendly and concern yourself with my well-being."
Talia was already tired of talking to him. She simply spat on the floor, expressing her disdain. Josh didn't say anything further and turned to leave, the laughter of the other teachers echoing in the office behind him.
When he returned to the entrance of the distillery, a crowd had gathered around the stall. The production workshop had suffered a major fire and was currently under reconstruction, so more people had come around.
Many employees were clamoring to ask how Josh was doing and if he was feeling better. However, there were also some murmurs that made Oliver and Ava feel a bit awkward.
