Lydia Sent Tim Away
Enzo looked solemn, his piercing and cold stared directly at Lydia, making others feel suffocated. It was as if the moment Lydia dared to lie to him, she would face his dreadful punishment.
Such gaze, Lydia had seen it since she was a child.
Whenever her father laid such a gaze on her, she would tremble with fear, her body shivering. In severe cases, she would even pray internally, begging her father not to kill her...
Facing her father's gaze, Lydia informed him, "It was Uncle Lucas's men who killed him. I saw it with my own eyes."
Enzo nodded without expressing any more doubts.
Suddenly he said, "Lydia, you are a grown-up lady now, it's time to discuss your marriage. I will find a good candidate for you."
"I'm still young, I don't want to get married.”
Enzo ignored her words and thought of a suitable candidate: a local rich businessman, whom he immediately recommended to Lydia.
Lydia responded, "But that man already has a wife and several mistresses. He's twenty years older than me."
