At the sound of Mia’s screams, guards rushed in from all directions to help her. Eleanor stood by the table, amused. One moment, Mia had been standing by the table, a safe distance from the edge of the pool. The next, she was in the water. It was such a shame to have missed her dive into the pool. It was the peak of her performance, albeit a little too desperate. Thomas came rushing with the guards, and he was the first to dive into the pool, clothes and all, and grab Mia.
