Chapter 208
"I contemplated then, but I knew Mom wouldn't agree."
Alvin answered with a pout. Looking at the disappointment in Alvin's eyes, Joseph knew he really wanted to live with his parents.
"Then let's try hard together, find opportunities to persuade her, until she agrees to stay."
Joseph saw the expectation in Alvin's eyes and silently decided that he would find a way to keep Melissa at his home, even if it take some minor scheming.
Scratching his head in distress, Alvin asked
"But what can we do about it?"
A smug look passed over Joseph’s cunning eyes as he confidently answered.
"I have a plan, but it might take a few more days."
After the car stopped, Joseph hoisted a drowsy Melissa while Alvin led Alvina into Joseph's home.
Joseph flicked on the hall light with one hand. Alvin and Alvina changed their shoes and stood in the hall, their eyes widening at the sight of the sci-fi themed interior.
The entire room was decked in shades of black, white, and grey, majority being black and white
