She returned to the adorable bedroom of Alvina and firmly shut the door, hoping no one would disrupt mother and daughter's time.
In the empty corridor, Joseph stood alone outside the door of Alvina, his thoughts constantly fluctuating and sinking into deep contemplation.
Joseph believed that Melissa's words, though not entirely trustworthy, should not be disregarded.
He even blamed himself for suspecting his own sister. When he heard the sound of the cell phone, he immediately answered the call.
"Tony." Joseph responded casually.
"When are you guys coming back? Is Alvina's wound getting better? The old lady was asking." The anxious voice of Tony came from the end of the line, with a home in disarray, they couldn't be at peace while at the resort.
"We're already home, are grandmother and the others doing well?"
Joseph had actually forgotten to inform them that Alvina was safely home.
"The old lady is fine, she's just worried about you guys."
