CHAPTER SEVENTY-NINE CONFUSED
JAVION'S POV
I sat on the hill, rain soaking through my clothes, as thunder rumbled in the sky. The storm had been relentless for two days now, matching the turmoil inside me.
I stared up at the dark clouds, wondering if my father, Gerard, would have known how to stop this madness. Bitterness and pain were my constant companions as I tried to make sense of it all.
Lost in thought, I barely noticed Luca approaching until he was right beside me, rain pouring off his hood. "Alpha, you need to go inside," he said, his voice almost drowned out by the storm. "This rain is too much. It’s not good for your health."
I sighed heavily, not taking my eyes off the sky. "Luca, am I doing a bad thing? Am I making a terrible mistake? What do you think I should have done? What do you think I should do now?"
Luca hesitated, the silence between us growing heavy. I glanced at him, then back to the sky. "Honestly speaking, am I truly doing something wrong?"
