Chapter Sixty-One Blood Donation
Waiting is the hardest thing because you will never know if what you are waiting for will happen or not. Waiting for the doctors to tell us about Thomas's health is the hardest out of all waiting because none of us know if he will live or not. All we did was hope, with all our hearts, that he was fine. And after the long wait, a doctor came out, and we all rushed to him.
"The Thomas Miles family?"
"Yes," we chorused.
"Ok, so after the operation, we were able to get his health stable, which means for now he is out of danger."
And the doctor's words brought relief to our faces.
"But there is a problem," the doctor said, and we all watched him, anxious about what he wanted to say.
"Doctor, you said he is out of danger; we don't understand what you are saying," I said, speaking most of our minds.
"Yes, I said he was out of danger. That means his health is no longer at risk, and we can take him to his room, but if action is not taken fast, it won't be good for his health."
