Chapter Fifty-Eight The Call
I had to stop by Angela's house to pick her up for shopping, as we agreed to do. Angela noticed something was off about me. She had known me to be the fighter and not the loser; my skin struggled to glow, and some wrinkles grew on my forehead.
Angela kept looking at me while I helped her mop the kitchen floor. Angela had messed up. Although I tried to keep up with the conversations, Angela pulled up about going to get her hair done and said she would love me to join her.
