Charles could sense the surprise in Dean's tone when he saw Naomi, but he did not have time to dwell on it, because the next moment, he heard Naomi gasp. He grinned at this. "Surprise, surprise!" Dean snapped out of his stupor and invited Charles inside. "Come in." He placed his bag aside and handed Charles a pair of house slippers, who took it from him. "Thanks, Mr. Goodwin." "My pleasure." They shuffled into the house and set their things down on the coffee table. Naomi, seeing that Charles once again showed up with extravagant gifts, had no words to say to this. "Charles, please stop bringing gifts every time you come by. My parents haven't even finished the last batch you brought over!" Charles was a little amused by the look on her face and smiled. "It's alright. They can't possibly finish everything in one go. Health is a long game, after all." Naomi shot him a defeated look. "Please don't bring any more stuff next time. If you do, I'll stop inviting you over." She said th
