Chapter 1192
The screen displayed one word: Grandpa.
Dylan was taken aback. He quickly checked the time. It was past eight o'clock. Why would Chandler be calling him at this hour?
Chandler rarely called him this late in the evening. The sudden call left Dylan quite surprised. He did not answer immediately, fearing his grandfather had dialed the wrong number.
The phone kept ringing, and it stopped after just two rings, indicating that Chandler had not made a mistake.
Without further hesitation, Dylan answered the call, "Hey, Grandpa."
"I heard that Scott and Naomi divorced. Is that true?"
Chandler's voice came through the phone, direct and to the point. It was also uncharacteristically gossipy.
Dylan was taken aback, then laughed. "Grandpa, since when did you start caring about other people's private matters?"
As he spoke, Dylan relaxed, feeling relieved. He could not fathom what had prompted his grandfather to suddenly ask such a question, but it piqued his interest.
