Chapter 31 Mirth

Edward was quick to leave upon realizing Ares’ sour mood. The question begged; when was Ares ever in a good mood? Edward didn’t want to risk any chances and soo fled the angry man’s office. Unfortunately, word hadn’t spread of the foul mood Ares was in. Soon after, Caterina walked in as if the man’s office was her own personal catwalk. The woman was lithe in her movements and had a smug smile on her face. Her makeup was perfectly done and nails manicured.
