Chapter 23
The two children were having fun, but Vera’s mood had turned sour.
She thought she was going to have a good talk with Sean Qiao, about the children, and about the misunderstanding between the two of them. She didn’t think it could get any worse at this point. But it did. Although Sean Qiao had messed up with her head, when Thomas Qiao pounced on her, she still smiled.
“Auntie, play with us.”
Thomas Qiao shook Vera‘s arm, his face begging her.
“Okay. Auntie will play with you.”
She took Thomas Qiao’s hand and went to play happily.
Luna walked towards Sean Qiao with a little timidity. Although she had spoken with him before, his face now showed that he was upset, and Luna was a little scared.
Although she was afraid, she felt like she had no choice. She needed to approach Sean Qiao boldly.
“Uncle.”
Sean Qiao’s frowning face relaxed when he heard Luna’s small voice.
“Come and sit down.”
