Chapter133: Family Comes First

*Tristan* I watch Rose’s expression and start to panic because that’s exactly what I think she’s starting to do. As soon as Trevor says that he doesn’t know where Eli is, her eyes go wide, and she starts breathing funny. The rest of the Alphas seem to pick up on her panic as well. “Darlin’,” Reece says gently, “you don’t need to worry about Eli. We’ve all got his back, and we’ll find out where he’s at.” That doesn’t seem to help because Rose has her hands on her belly now and looks like she’s struggling to breathe. “Someone get the doctor,” Kelly says, pushing us all aside and sitting on Rose’s bed next to her. She takes her hand in hers, then coaxes her to look her straight in the eye. “Breathe, honey,” she says in a soft, soothing voice. “Watch me and breathe.” I’m already in my head calling for Dr. Pendergan, and she answers in the mind-link that she’s on her way. “The doctor is coming,” I tell whoever is listening. Kelly nods without looking at me and keeps up with her calm voice.
