Chapter 29 In Her Pups

Derek "If you have your own pups someday, I'm sure that they will look exactly the same." Does she know something? Did she find out about that night? Or does she suspect me? I don't know why my mother thinks that my future pups will look like Melody's. I mean, what are the odds? I haven't gotten to see those kids up close. I do not even know how they look. I have only seen them from afar. I do not even know their names. Could it be that they look like me? I didn't know what to think anymore. After my mother's words earlier, every iota of doubt in me vanished. I knew that my mother could never be wrong, but what bothers me was that if my mother could see the similarities between me and the pups, then it's only a matter of time before everyone else does.
