Chapter 13

In art class on Monday, I went and sat beside Liam. He smiles when he saw me. We held a small conversation, until Mr. Weir came to class. "Good morning class, today you are going to be given an assignment that you will be doing in pairs." Mr. Weir said, while putting some papers down on his desk. "I want you to create a sketchbook and you are going to fill the spaces with your work and drawing of your choice. Use your sketchbook as a place to let out your ideas and thoughts." "The purpose of this assignment is to strengthened your drawing skills, encourage you to look harder at things, use your imagination, explore techniques that interest you and challenge you." He continues. "Now, your sketchbooks are due in two weeks on the Friday class. No excuses." Mr. Weir then allowed us to select our partners. It was not hard for me, because I already knew who I was going to work with. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I looked around on my right side to see Amanda Gillies. "Do you want
