It was on the second day, I walked up to my class that was buzzing with students making it up for lectures. Just as I turned a corner, a familiar figure approached me. It was Jeremy. Jeremy walked up to me, his eyes dark with resentment, and pouted his lips just as he got to my front.
"Don't be too happy just because your mother got released," he sneered, his voice dripping with malice.

"Your father will pay for killing my mum," He whispered to my ear, and smirked.
I stared at him, disbelief clouding my expression. "Jeremy, there is more to the story than you know," I asserted, my voice steady despite the knots in my belly.
He scoffed dismissively. "Save your excuses, Amaya. I know the truth, and I'll make sure your family pays for what they have done."
