Vikram's POV It was party time and I reached there. Gautam was already there with a very beautiful, confident, innocent and bubbly girl. I went towards them and I hugged and wished him again. " She smiled at me and said hello to me shyly. " So, when did this happen?? I mean, he is your boyfriend... How did that happen all of a sudden?" " Well you better ask this from him, I was shocked as well. " She giggled and reminded me of Vidhi. " You are exactly like my younger sister, Vidhi... " " Wow, that is great !! So, you can treat me, as if I am her and I found an older brother in you. " She smiled lovingly at me. She was really sweet, I nodded and hugged her. " She was my senior in college and we represented our college as a team in various competitions. She is a fabulous girl. I learned many good things from her. " I saw Aditi and Aakash coming towards us. They came and wished him. Aditi always flirts with everyone, Specially Gautam and me. He gets irritated with her. But as she works with us, we can't be rude to her. Aditi and Aakash both are of the same type, flirting with everyone. Aditi started flirting with me, I smiled and let her flirt. She even caught my hand in her's and was standing very close to me. I wanted to see, if Sandhya gets as uncomfortable, as I get when any man is talking to her. But I got disappointed when she remained unaffected. I excused myself from Aditi and left. " So you were trying the oldest way to see if she has feelings for you or not, by making her jealous of another girl by being extra nice with another girl. " Maurvi said. I looked at her with shock. Can she read minds? " How did you...?? " " Leave that for now, let me tell you one thing like all the boys are not alike, every girl has different ways..." Maurvi smiled and said. " What do you mean?" " What if she thinks, that you are interested in someone else and she gets attracted to another one, who might seem interested in her. " She said pointing towards Chirag. Gautam was getting annoyed with Aditi now and he was calling Maurvi. But she was just smiling at him. Was she not jealous?? I thought for a min and asked her, " Then how should I check if she likes me or not? " " Will tell you once I solve his problem." She went towards Gautam where Aditi was standing next to him holding his hand. Maurvi said something and Aditi left his hand immediately. Wow!!!! I need her help too. She remained with him while he ordered food. They look very good together. We all had food, Maurvi said to Sandhya, "Please come and sit with me... It has been so long. I am so happy to see you today. " Sandhya sat next to her and directly in front of me. Maurvi winked at me. I tried to hide my smile, she is really like Vidhi. I kept glancing towards Sandhya and she seemed a bit uncomfortable. I was loving every minute of this meal. Once the meal was over and the cake was cut, everyone started dispersing. Gautam had gone to settle the payment. Sandhya was busy talking with Maurvi. When all of a sudden a man came towards them and asked Sandhya, " Hi Sandhya?? What are you doing here at this hour ?? Whom did you come with? Let me take you home. " He caught hold of her hand and started walking towards the door. What the hell?? Who was he now??? " What are you... Leave my hand. I am not going anywhere with you. " Sandhya said to him quite loudly. " Why can't you come with me? Come on, don't create a scene just come." I caught her another hand. " Just leave her hand, or I will break yours... " I shouted at him. " Who are you mister? Just stay away. This is between us... " He said pointing towards himself and Sandhya. " Oh, please Sumeet... there is no us. I am not going anywhere with you. " I was glaring at him, but he didn't bother. I helped her release her hand from his grip and stood between Sandhya and that man. " What is going on here? Who is this man to you? Why is he behaving like this? Tell me right now? " That... Sumeet asked from Sandhya. " He may be anything to me, who are you? You are Shubh's friend, not mine. Why do you think that I am answerable to you? " He took a step towards her but I stopped him. He tried pushing me aside but I punched him. He also threw a punch at me but I caught his hand. Gautam was also here now he came towards us and stood by me. " Ok fine, I am calling Shubh. He will talk to you," he said in an angry tone. " Yes, please do that. " Sandhya said in the same angry tone. " Do you think he would be very happy to see you creating this scene?? And these men seem to be very friendly, Hmmm. He would not like it. " " Don't worry about me Sumeet. I suggest you leave before he comes if you really value your friendship with him because if I tell him, about how you behaved, he won't be very happy with you. " Sandhya glared at him and said. " I am going, but you will repent that you behaved like this. " He glared at her and I wanted to break his jaw. I clenched my fist but Gautam placed his hand on my shoulder and shook his head. We glared at him, he just turned and went out. I turned and looked at Sandhya. She was very upset. Maurvi was trying to calm her. I asked, " Are you... alright?" She just nodded. I gave her a glass of water to drink. " Why was he behaving like that? " Asked Maurvi. " He always behaves like that. A few weeks ago I was in a market and one of my old family friends saw me there. He came and said hello to me, we were just talking casually. I was asking him about his parents and all of a sudden he came out of nowhere and started behaving abnormally." " As in... Like what? " I couldn't stop myself from asking. " That I should not have talked to him, it is not good for me and he doesn't like it and once, he even proposed me but I refused." She said. " Why didn't you tell your brother? " I asked. " They are very old friends, I thought... " " You must tell him, Call him now..." She did call him and he said he would be there in 10 mins.
