Verian Mont held back her breath and retracted her head, leaning down into the seat like a tortoise. However, her worries of exposure were clearly meaningless, as Heaton Fudd had obviously seen her already, but he did not stop the conversation with Yvette Yaleman, treating Verian as if she was non-existent.
