"Gavin, we've been through a lot together, so I'll give you some friendly advice—sign the divorce agreement as soon as possible. Don't make me take harsher measures." Tom said this with a smile, but it felt more like a warning that sent shivers down my spine.
However, I knew that Tom wasn't just making empty threats.
