"Yes," Lawrence nodded. "Why?"
Evelyn said, "Then why do you look as if you were running over?"
"I see," Lawrence said while shrugging. "There wasn't a parking space when I arrived. So I parked in the neighbouring parking lot. I was worried that you would wait too long, so I ran over." He then sighed and said, "But I still kept you waiting for a while."
"It doesn't matter." Evelyn smiled and said, "Luckily I didn't leave earlier."
"That's right," Lawrence nodded, "Luckily you didn't leave. Otherwise, I will be embarrassed to meet you again."
Sometimes, the difference between explaining on site and afterwards was really significant.
"Sir, your coffee." The waiter came for serving.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome. Young Miss, your juice."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome. Please enjoy."
The waiter took the tray and was about to leave when Lawrence suddenly stopped him, "Wait a minute."
"Sir, is there anything else you need?"
