Zayden was in a good mood

Alice thought, ‘I’m not afraid of you. Why would I?’ She was so angry that she wanted to slap him. Zedon left after saying that, much to her delight. Alice sat nervously in her office until 3:00 when she was relieved of her duties. She walked away without even saying hello when the doctor on the next shift arrived there. She had to return to work at 9:00 AM, so she slept in the doctor’s lounge. Being on duty all night, was exhausting. However, Alice could not sleep after lying down. She knew she would meet Zayden when she returned to Rose City, but she didn’t expect that she would meet him so soon. She had only been back a month when she ran into Sean and him at the hospital. For five years, Alice had been thinking about it and wasn’t sure how she would face Zayden again. Alice knew that if they were never see each other again, time would make them let go of everything. Some people may forget someone after only a few days not seeing them, while others may take years or even a lifetime.
