She was dressed in a white sweater and light blue jeans and holding a gray coat, seeming to be gentle and sweet. Alice thought that this woman might be the lair that Maggie was talking about. They carried bags full of baby stuff as they took the escalator from the first basement floor. Zayden bowed his head and laughed after the girl said something to him.
