But why do you look like a family to me?” He recalled the last time he had seen Alice, and he watched Damian leave her house. Alice was able to defend herself eloquently during their fight. Even though Zayden had seen them together, she insisted that Damian was simply a friend. Zayden began to doubt if the information he had been given was correct because of her righteous attitude. He
