The car crawled along the busy road like a bug because of the heavy traffic. However, just as the cars in front of them were driving away and they could move forward, Alice suddenly shouted the words. Sam, the driver, paused at Alice’s words. “What?” he asked. Sam wasn’t the only one who didn’t react, because everyone in the car froze. Flora was the first one to react. She grabbed Alice’s arm as quickly as she could and said again, “What are you up to? You already said you weren’t going to get engaged in this!” Alice frowned and then looked out the window again. She said anxiously, “Aunt Flora, someone is going to jump off the building!” Alice didn’t do this because she was overwhelmed with compassion, but because she felt that she could empathize with them as human beings. She believed that everyone’s life was valuable. As the light was ready to turn green, Sam gave them a puzzled look. After Ethan told him to stop, he pulled over. Flora said unhappily, “Alice, do you think you are no
