Chapter 5 His Gentleness Does Not Belong to her
In the end, Bo Qianqian was made to donate her bone marrow to Ye Ke'er.
Ye Wanwan's efforts to stop him were fruitless. No one could change the decision that Bo Qing had made.
Looking at Bo Qianqian's pale face, Ye Wanwan's tears trickled down.
She clutched Bo Qianqian's tiny hand and cursed the fact that she could not bear all the pain and torture for her daughter.
After donating marrow to Ye Ke'er, Bo Qianqian had fallen into a coma. However, even though she was asleep, her little face was still filled with pain.
"Dad..."
Bo Qianqian's chapped lips moved slowly. "Dad, why don't you come to see me...?"
"Dad, Qianqian is trying very hard to be a good child. Dad, why don't you like me?"
Hearing Bo Qianqian's pitiful sleep-talk, Ye Wanwan's tears flowed even more fiercely.
A four-year-old child did not have the kind of complicated thoughts adults did and were ignorant to many of the affairs of the world. She simply believed that her father did not like her or pay attention to her because she did not behave well.
Ye Wanwan knew that Bo Qing was definitely with Ye Ke'er and their child right now, enjoying being a happy little family. If she went to get Bo Qing, she would only embarrass herself.
However, for the sake of Bo Qianqian, she intended to have a serious talk with Bo Qing.
When Ye Wanwan arrived at Ye Ke'er's ward, she found her sister curling up in Bo Qing's arms and frowning pitifully. "Brother Qing, my stomach hurts..."
"Ke'er, the doctor said that it'd stop hurting soon, so try to bear it." Bo Qing, who was usually either cold-tempered or hot-tempered, was not being impatient at all for once, and his voice was gentle.
Ye Wanwan's eyes stung at the sight of such a romantic scene!
Her stomach also ached with the pain of recent childbirth, feeling as if she had been pricked by a thousand needles. However, if she complained, Bo Qing would only say, "Ye Wanwan, you deserve to die from the pain!"
Struggling to raise her head and prevent her tears from falling, Ye Wanwan walked to the front of Bo Qing. "Bo Qing, let's talk."
Ye Ke'er immediately jumped into playing a kind and sensible act, saying, "Brother Qing, go and accompany my sister. She has just lost her child and must be very sad."
"Ye Ke'er, stop pretending!" Ye Wanwan snapped, then stepped forward and grabbed Bo Qing's hand. "Bo Qing, let's talk outside!"
Bo Qing intuitively wanted to shake Ye Wanwan off, but when he saw the veins jutting from the back of her hand, he couldn't bring himself to do it.
“It's only been a few days since I last saw her. Why is she so thin now?”
Bo Qing and Ye Wanwan went to the ground floor of the hospital.
Ye Wanwan suppressed the sobs in her throat and said softly, "Qing, can you go take a look at Qianqian? She really misses her father."
"Then go look for her real father instead of wasting my time." Bo Qing looked down at Ye Wanwan, his eyes devoid of any warmth. "Do you think I enjoy being a cuckold?"
Bo Qing's words made Ye Wanwan feel sad and embarrassed.
Recalling Bo Qianqian's pathetic muttering, however, she pleaded obediently, "Qing, spare some time for Qianqian, please. I'm begging you."
Ye Wanwan bit her lower lip lightly, stepped forward, and hugged Bo Qing tightly. "Qing, can't we just start over?"
Bo Qing stretched out his hand automatically and was overwhelmed by a desire to embrace her back. "How long has it been since we hugged each other?"
Before his hand could land on Ye Wanwan's back, his phone suddenly rang. Ye Ke'er's anxious voice could be heard from the other end of the line as she said in a panic, "Brother Qing, someone has taken our child away!"
