In the garden, Lucy's angry voice could be heard. "So, that annoying woman was your sister?" Adeline sat on the swing, holding Lucy's plate of small pastries. A household staff walked by with a wine tray, and she took a glass of champagne. It was refreshing to have one bite of pastry and one sip of champagne. "Adeline, that's exactly how you should've taught her a lesson! You wouldn't believe it! When they pulled her out, she looked like a drowned rat as she screamed her head off!"
