Chapter 31: A Bit Heartbroken
Natalie Silvestre stood with her arms crossed, expressionless, looking at the two people in front of her.
"I didn't expect both of you to adjust so quickly and appear in front of me," Natalie Silvestre said with a look of anticipation.
Harkins Phyllis's face was filled with anger, but she still patiently said, "If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have missed my grandfather and grandmother's birthday last night. They wouldn't have come looking for trouble with us!"
"Since you don't let us off, I won't let you off either!"
Natalie Silvestre stood still, her body stiff for a moment.
She had forgotten the birthdays of the two elders, the only ones who had been kind to her after she returned to the Hightree family.
But after that incident, she never visited them again, unsure if they could forgive her.
While Natalie Silvestre was contemplating, she heard Harkins Phyllis's voice again.
"I've never seen anyone as unfilial as you!"
