Chapter 152 Change of Perspective
Natalie Silvestre cleared her throat and began, “If there’s nothing else, gentlemen, please leave. I have matters to attend to here.”
With that, she looked up to see the three board members give her a long, hard look before turning to leave.
Natalie stood with one hand on her hip, frowning as she watched them go.
They didn't separate but continued walking together. Even from a distance, Natalie, with her trained ears, could hear their murmured conversation.
“This Natalie Silvestre is truly formidable. It seems we’ve underestimated her all along.”
“Indeed. Even someone like Jeremiah Kenneth seems to be somewhat afraid of her!”
“That’s what worries me the most!”
“If she’s this powerful, why insist on being the head of the National Academy? There's nothing in the school worth coveting.”
The three men couldn’t figure it out, and none dared to ask Natalie directly.
Watching them walk away with sighs of resignation, Natalie smiled and turned back into the building housing the youth
