Daphne felt terribly dizzy, and Lester shaking her only made it worse. In her discomfort, she clung to his neck and bit his shoulder. Her scent pierced straight into his soul. After asking the Robo Housekeeper, he learned that Lester had gone to see Daphne. He couldn't figure out why Lester would go to Daphne's place so late at night, and even now, he still hadn't returned. ... Early the next morning, Daphne turned over and put her hand on something so hard it felt like a rock. Who had placed a rock on her bed? She opened her eyes and almost jumped at what she saw. Her hand was resting on a firm, muscular chest. Startled, she quickly pushed herself up. She looked left and right, not knowing what to do first. Sensing her alarm, Lester reached out and pulled her into his arms to calm her, though he didn't open his eyes.
