Become a suspect

Tina gazed at the woman standing with her hands on her chest. She had coughed thoroughly and had hardly been able to catch her breath when she asked a ryhtorical question. She stared at her from her head to her toes, scrutinizing and sending a warning with her stare. She doesn't like it when people who are not strong pretends to be strong. The same lady was fidgeting and shivering from fear and now, she pretends before her to be courageous with a fearless heart. Dare she to put up a fake courage before her? She is mistaken because she is capable of reading her mind from the actions she put up. "Are you trying to put up a pretence before me? Do you care about your boyfriend Pascal Parker and wants to bring his killers before the law? You will become a suspect if you don't tell me everything you know about him and I will ensure that I bundle you to the police station.." Tina's facial expression changed. Lulu stared at the woman before her and her tears gave way. "I will tell you as much as I know. I know only a little but I will tell you everything" she agreed and Tina gave a soft sigh. It was late in the Duro's Mansion. Clara had waited for her husband to return home. Being a politician takes a lot from you especially if you have a position you are aspiring for. Jackson Duro is not an exception. He goes out in the morning and returns tired and worn out. He would go from a seminar to a meeting and then to a close door conference and bla bla bla. Clara only gets to know when he goes out in the morning but can't remember when he returned home at the time she was still awake except the other day when Jordan visited. But she chose to wait. She would wait for her husband's return. Even if it takes him till midnight before he comes. While she was waiting, Clara was lost in her thoughts. She needed to talk to Jack, even if it mean, just informing him that they needed to talk early the next morning. Jordan is lost in solitude. When Rachel died, it seemed a part of him died with her. He can't come out of the realization that he was never going to see her again or that she was gone for real. It took a long time for him to get back to work and live as if everything was back to normal. But she knows he is not alright, he missed her a lot. She wished Jordan would meet another woman. Someone he would fall in love with again. She wants him to be happy. She wants Jack to see from her point of view and together, they talk him into giving another woman a chance in his life. Clara was still waiting for her husband's return when she slept off. When she woke up the next morning, she saw her husband sleeping peacefully beside her. She yawned and wondered what made her think she could stay awake until Jackson returns. During breakfast, she asked if Jack could spare her some few minutes after breakfast. She needed them to talk briefly. In Newtown city, Tina woke up late that morning. She yawned and stretched her body. The first morning she is having in her apartment and in Newtown city as a whole. She was able to make a significant achievement by taking Lulu's interrogation. She has the records and will listen to it again to start her investigation from there. She would uncover what is left. It appears to be a simple task left. Each of the proof that Lulu has given her, she would pick up from there and begin. She got out of bed and went to have a bath. She was sitting before the vanity mirror when her phone rang. She looked at the caller ID and saw it was coming from Jordan. She answered the phone. Jordan asked that she meet the others in the office. Tina said ok, she would be there. She was going to continue with her investigation but Jordan had called her to come over to the office. Jordan on the other hand felt greatly relieved. Tina was coming to the office. He hadn't stopped thinking about her and how they met back in Abuja. Without Isabella saying anything, he felt unhappy how she left the group the previous day. She is an asset to the team and he valued her presence. Since she agreed to come over, he would apologise to her and get things straightened. Most likely, they would swap and she would become his partner. He looked forward to seeing her that morning. He is interested in working with her and he knew they would achieve a lot together. "... Why should I be interested in discussing Jordan's issues with you? Isn't he a man enough that can make his own decisions? How does that have to do with me? This should be the last time you asked for my time only to talk about Jordan. Is that clear Clara?" Jackson Duro bellowed. Clara was quiet. Whenever Jackson calls her by the name, it indicates just how upset and unhappy he is with her. He calls her darling all these years. But now, he called her Clara. Jackson is having a long time disagreement with Jordan. "How can you say that my love? Jordan is still our Son. He is your son Jack and saying you don't want to talk about him is not proper" Clara tried to calm him down. " My son? A son who thinks he has become older than his father?" Jackson Duro asked.
