Savana's POV I rushed inside the apartment with my hands shaking as I unlocked the door and threw my purse to the ground. What happened to you Kai? All the lights were turned off, but I saw my bedroom door open. I frantically ran to the room, trying my best not to trip over my high heels. I rushed into the room worriedly, panting and out of breath, hoping that nothing bad happened to Kai while he was on his way here. My eyes darted on the bed and there I saw him smirking with a glass of wine in his hand, completely safe and uninjured. He was surrounded by white and red rose petals and a bottle of wine on the nightstand. 'Welcome home, babe…" he said in a way like he didn't almost give me a heart attack earlier. He was smirking like he was enjoying this moment. The seventeen missed calls. The cryptic text. All of this? For what? ‘‘What the fuck, Kai?!'' I said in an aggravated tone, stomping my feet on the ground and removing my shoes, throwing them on the side in frustration.
