Chapter 48
Savana's POV
I looked around as Enzo continued driving down the gravel road. He finally turned the music off so the only noise that was heard was the gravel crunching beneath the tires and the chirping of birds flying up above.
I felt so nervous because we were all alone, really alone. I couldn't see any cars, buildings, or people. I saw nothing except for the trees and wild grasses everywhere.
'Don't worry little kitten, I didn't bring you out here to kill you…" he joked and I swallowed hard. I was more afraid of what I might do when I was alone with him than if he was to actually try to kill me.
He continued to drive for another mile and finally, he pulled up under a giant douglas-fir tree. I looked out the window and saw nothing but still grasses and trees but there were white and yellow wildflowers now littered on the ground and the breeze was cold.
Surprisingly, there was no snow here. 'Where are we?" I asked as I climbed out of the car.
'We have to walk at the deepest part
