Savana's POV I struggled to get up but I managed to do it without waking up Enzo. I put on my clothes as quietly as possible and checked my phone. It was almost one in the morning and I was bombarded with messages and missed calls from Kai. Shit! I needed to get away from here immediately. From this man. Or else, I'd stay forever. Forever? Oh my God, no! I can't do that to Kai. I love him. I still love him even though I was trying really hard not to fall for the man sleeping on the bed in front of me. I looked for my shoes under the bed and immediately put them on when I found them. I got up from bending down and brushed my fingers over my hair trying to untangle the knots when I felt a hand on my wrist. 'Savana…" I was startled when I heard his voice. He looked up at me through his lashes, still lying on the bed, looking flushed. His warm hand held onto mine, trying to prevent me from leaving. 'Stay…" His voice sounded so soothing but pained. "Please..." he begged. We both kn
