Chapter 3

SAVANA'S POV I was inspired by his suggestion to give Cassie a call, meet up at a nightclub, and have a party all night long to forget Kai. I was in desperate need of some time off to relax and refresh myself. A night out with my best friend will surely help me not to think about my boyfriend even for a night. I dialed Cassie's number but to my disappointment, I was sent to her voicemail instead. I think she was also busy. But she didn't tell me that she also has plans for tonight. Please, Cassie… not right now... I need you… After a few failed attempts of calling her, I heaved a heavy sigh of disappointment. I believe that talking to her was a waste of time. The fact that both my boyfriend and my best friend were busy at the time I needed them was extremely upsetting, and the rain just made matters worse. It appeared as though the whole world despised me so much. After having a debate with myself over whether or not I ought to go to the nightclub, I made the decision to listen to what my mind was telling me to do. Have a party and enjoy the night. Alone. I was by myself as I entered the renowned nightclub in the city. I took off my heavy coat as I strolled towards the entrance, displaying my body confidently. My only goal right now was to release some of the tension that had been building up inside of me, dance the night away, and maybe... release some of my sexual cravings to someone. To a stranger. After making the decision to sit at the bar counter, I placed an order for blended whisky and observed as the bartender poured the hard liquor into the crystal glass that was filled with ice cubes. As I took in my surroundings, I noticed that every person present was moving their body in time to the pulsating music being played by the DJ. The ground was vibrating beneath my feet, and the heat that was emanating from the mass was impossible to avoid. Once more, I let my eyes wander over the densely packed crowd. They made me think of penguins huddled together in the snow when high on crack. I was surprised to find that it had been a very long time since the last time I had this much fun by myself. Because I was in a committed relationship at the time, I wasn't very interested in going out. I did not venture out nearly as frequently as I used to. I took a sip of my whisky, feeling the comforting warmth of the alcohol spreading through my body. I didn't stop until it was empty, and then I placed another order. The music was changed by the DJ, and the tune that was playing this time was my favorite song by David Guetta. I couldn't help but smirk as I turned my head once more to look at the packed dance floor and narrowed my eyes when I saw a group of attractive men moving their bodies in time to the beat of the music. "Forget about Kai just for tonight, Savana…" I mumbled to myself and then made my way over the boys while lifting my dress slightly to display my flawless thighs and swaying my hips sensually as I moved towards them. …………..**********……………… I started to dance, no, let's rephrase that: I started to gyrate so sensuously to the tune of the music, slowly grinding my body to every man I passed by on the dance floor. And I was acutely aware of the dozens of eyes that were focused on me, but I didn't pay any attention to them. I was actually looking for someone who could take away all my frustrations, disappointments, and annoyance for tonight from Kai's not showing up on our very first anniversary. I couldn't help but laugh when some random guy tried to grab me from my behind, and I smacked his hands away in an alluring manner. He stepped back and left but three men approached me and began to dance in close proximity to me. I teased them a little bit, and for some reason, it helped restore some of the self-assurance I had lost. Despite being really hyped, I did not allow anyone to touch any part of my body for free. I couldn't help but giggle at their expressions, even though I could sense the frustration they were trying to project onto me. I continued to tease them as I bent over and did something enticing with my hips, but I had no idea that it would end badly when all of a sudden they started grasping my waist, and I felt another guy hugging me from behind. Shit! I was startled when one of them hissed in my ear, "You can't go anywhere now, bitch." I froze in place. Did he just call me bitch? Suddenly, my body was yanked out from among the pack of horny wolves by another random guy who grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me before the men could go any farther. "I'm really sorry guys, but she's with me," I was unable to see the face of the man who was speaking. because he was holding me in his arms and my back was pressed against his chest.
