Savana's POV When I walked out of the bathroom, I saw Kai lying on my bed, his eyes closed. He fell asleep waiting for me to finish taking a shower. I took my time putting on the oversized shirt he picked up for me to wear before blow-drying my hair. I lay on the bed next to him, but I did anything but sleep. How could I? When the man I loved slept peacefully beside me without knowing exactly what a horrible person I was. What a bitch I was for fucking his best friend. I watched his face, shadowed from the dark room. The way his lashes met the tops of his cheeks, how his mouth slightly parted, and a light snore coming out. His dark hair flopping to the side, meeting my white soft pillow. I watched him breathe in and out, and I smiled when he snuggled closer to me, wrapping his strong arm around my waist. It was then that I started to cry. The weight of what I have done settling in.
