Chapter 140
Savana's POV
Enzo was finally discharged from the hospital, but instead of speaking with me, he spent the entire day in his library.
Enough is enough. It's either now or never for us to talk about it. I closed my eyes and sat back on my couch seat, pondering how I should approach him.
This was something I had to do. I sighed as I rose from my seat and opened the door to his library.
‘‘What is it?'' Enzo grumbled as he stared at the piece of paper in his left hand. The fractured bone in his right hand was still in a cast.
His tone made me frown. He had never spoken to me in this manner before.
‘‘Enzo…'' his eyes snapped up to mine. ‘‘How about we actually have a proper discussion and not you dismissing me?''
He was taken aback by my severe demeanor.
‘‘Savana… I don't want to talk about it right now---‘'
‘‘Well, too bad! It's happening now!'' I snapped angrily. ‘‘I don't understand why you won't talk to me! Why you're acting like I was nothing in this house!''
