"That's my personal investment; it's not related to the company," I explained. After all, being a doctor was my own interest. Opening a hospital had nothing to do with the businesses my family owned.
Lindsey nodded. "Alright, then I won't bother you anymore."
The hospital had all the necessary equipment, but at the moment it still looked a bit rundown. It definitely needed a full renovation. At this rate, it would probably take two months before we could open.
I transferred the money to Ms. Smith and didn't really pay much attention to the matter after that. There was still plenty going on at the company, and most of it had fallen on my shoulders.

"Lindsey, what's going on?" I dialed the line to the secretary's office, but the person who picked up was Mira. She sounded anxious as she spoke. "Bad news. Someone wants to jump off the building."
