Noelle looked up at Donovan. "You used to say that the ties I picked for you looked the best. Every time you had an important contract to negotiate, you'd have me buy a new one and tie it for you." Donovan stiffened. "And?" Was Noelle trying to play the emotional card? If she could just behave, he might consider forgiving her this time. The next second, Noelle yanked off Donovan's tie. "Didn't I buy this for you?" Without hesitation, she tossed it into the trash can. Donovan was furious. "What are you doing?" Noelle slapped Donovan, leaving him in shock. "Now we're even.
