Chapter 154 Dinner

Claire raised her brows at Alex question. “What do you mean by already?” Alex coughed nervously and rubbed the back of his neck. “I mean I thought you want to talk more about your ideas regarding the hotel.” “That’s all for now. I will contact you about the robot development.” “Of course, I will wait for the update.” Alex looked elsewhere but Claires eyes. As Claire left his hotel room, Alex closed the door and sighed, scolding himself. “Why did I say 'already'? It sounded like I didn’t believe she’d leave early,” he muttered, running a hand through his hair. He had been so caught off guard by her sudden visit that his words had come out wrong. He shook his head and returned to his work, trying to push the awkward moment out of his mind. For the next two days, everything went as usual for Claire, meetings, hotel site visits, and more meetings. However, she couldn’t shake the feeling that someone was watching her. It made her uncomfortable, though she couldn’t pinpoint why. W
